Khulna Agricultural University

Khulna Agricultural University (KAU) is a public university in Khulna, Bangladesh, dedicated to education and research in the field of agriculture and related disciplines.

Though young and vibrant, Khulna Agricultural University boasts a history rooted in Bangladesh's agricultural aspirations. The seeds of its existence were sown in 2015 with the passing of an Act in the National Assembly, envisioning a "Center of Brilliance" for the southern region. It officially bloomed into life in 2019, marking the 5th public agricultural university in Bangladesh and the first for Khulna.

Though its permanent campus in Arangghata awaits completion, KAU has blossomed remarkably. Research, its lifeblood, flows strong in areas like crop production, livestock management, fisheries, and agricultural advancements. Collaborations with national and international institutes enrich its soil, leading to innovative solutions for the challenges facing Bangladesh's agricultural landscape.
