Noakhali Science and Technology University

Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) is a public university located in Noakhali, Bangladesh.

Noakhali Science and Technology University's journey began with a vision to cater to the educational needs of southern Bangladesh. In 2001, during Sheikh Hasina's government, parliament enacted the Noakhali Science and Technology University Act, laying the groundwork for its establishment. Two years later, in 2003, Former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia laid the foundation stone, officially ushering NSTU into existence.

STU has a beautiful campus located on the outskirts of Noakhali town. The campus is home to a number of academic buildings, administrative offices, student dormitories, and a central library. The university is committed to providing its students with a high-quality education and preparing them for successful careers in science and technology. NSTU has a strong reputation for its research and development activities, and its faculty members are actively involved in a number of international research projects.

Despite its relatively young age, NSTU has achieved notable milestones. In 2011-2012, it earned a place among the "Top World Universities" by Times Higher Education and Quacquarelli Symonds, UK, acknowledging its commitment to academic excellence. Today, NSTU stands as a vibrant hub of learning and research, contributing significantly to the scientific and technological advancement of Bangladesh.
