University of San Simón

L'Università Maggiore di San Simón (UMSS) è un'università pubblica situata a Cochabamba, in Bolivia.

The Universidad Mayor de San Simón (UMSS) was founded on November 5, 1832, by Marshal Andrés de Santa Cruz, during the presidency of Santa Cruz. It was one of the first universities founded in Bolivia, after the San Francisco Xavier University of Chuquisaca and the University of San Andrés of La Paz.
