Baghdad College of Medical Science

Baghdad College of Medical Science is located in Baghdad, Iraq. It is locally known as كلية بغداد للعلوم الطبية. Formerly It was the Baghdad College of Pharmacy, in its current structure includes the Department of Pharmacy and the Department of Nursing. The college was established in Baghdad in 2000 by Iraq Pharmacists Syndicate At its first establishment, it included only one department, which was the Pharmacy Department. The college aims to prepare pharmacists who have the scientific and technical competence to carry out pharmaceutical services and chemical analyzes in Iraq. The approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to establish the college was issued on September 14, 2000 in accordance with the provisions of Article (38) of the Private Universities and Colleges Law No. 13 of 1996, as amended by Law No. (57) of 2002. The department’s branches were created since the beginning of the establishment, and they are as follows: The Pharmaceuticals Branch, the Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Drugs Branch, and the Therapeutics and Clinical Pharmacy Branch
