Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele (UniSR) is a private university in Milan, Italy.
The Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (UniSR) was founded in 1996 with the establishment of the Department of Psychology. This was followed by the opening of the Medical School in 1998 and the Philosophy Department in 2001. In 2010, the San Raffaele International MD Program was created, offering an English-language medical degree to students from all over the world. The Dentistry Course was added in 2011.
UniSR was founded by Don Luigi Maria Verzé, a Catholic priest and philanthropist. Verzé's vision for UniSR was to create a university that would combine excellence in teaching and research with a commitment to humanistic values.
