Technological University of Panamá

Technological University of Panama, Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá (UTP) is the second largest university in Panama.

UTP's roots trace back to the Engineering School of the University of Panama, established in 1955. As Panama's engineering sector boomed, the need for a dedicated institution specializing in technical education became increasingly evident. In 1975, the school transformed into the Polytechnic Institute, offering a wider range of engineering and technical programs.

UTP's commitment to quality education and research has earned it national and international recognition. It is the highest-ranked public university in Panama for engineering, science, and technology and has been accredited by the National Council of University Assessment and Accreditation of Panama (CONEAUPA).
