Carlos III University of Madrid is a public university located in Getafe, Spain.

The history of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is relatively short, but it has been a period of rapid growth and development. The university was founded in 1989, as part of a broader effort to reform the Spanish university system.
