Strong academics and huge opportunities at a big, vibrant campus
As a UCF alum, I genuinely valued my time here. The academics — especially engineering and STEM — are strong, with real hands-on research, labs, and internship opportunities that tied straight into careers. The campus is huge, modern, and beautiful: great study spaces, dining, and rec facilities, and a genuinely diverse, welcoming student body. Most of my professors were engaged and supportive. Honest downsides: it's a big school, so it gets crowded, parking is a headache, and class registration takes patience. But the sheer range of opportunities and the value for a public university made it well worth it. Would recommend.
