The University of Pennsylvania, usually referred to as UPenn or Penn, is an Ivy League University in the city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Penn was founded by Benjamin Franklin with the goal of preparing students for public service and commerce, with a grounding in theology and the classics.
