Women's University in Africa is a private institution of higher learning located in Harare, Zimbabwe.
It was established in 2002 in pursuit of women's empowerment through higher education and enabling personal and professional development opportunities. A private, non-profit institution, it was to address historical exclusion faced by women as a barrier to their access into higher education. It was chartered in 2004 by the Zimbabwe government, with a recognition of the institution as a center of academic excellence.
