Gustavus Adolphus College

Gustavus Adolphus College is a highly regarded private liberal arts college located in St. Peter, Minnesota, approximately 70 miles southwest of the Twin Cities. Founded in 1862 by Swedish immigrants, the college is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and is named after King Gustav II Adolf of Sweden. Athletics are also a major draw; as a member of the NCAA Division III (MIAC), the college fields 23 varsity teams, including a nationally dominant women’s hockey program.
