Heritage Christian University, located in Florence, Alabama, is a unique university, committed to providing an excellent quality Christian education. Founded in 1971, the university offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs, primarily in biblical studies, ministry, and theology. Heritage Christian University is committed to giving students a strong foundation to think and live as Christians in society in leadership positions in their schools, churches, and communities. Our professors, who are committed to biblical truths, want to foster an academic environment that promotes students being engaged in theology, academia, and community. The campus of Heritage Christian University has a lovely setting in the beautiful foothills of Florence, which provides a relaxing atmosphere for students to study theology and build community with one another. Due to the Christian nature of the institution, there is an oversight of things students do to promote a commitment to service, faith, and ethical leadership. There are typically many ministry opportunities students are involved in and research and community service projects we put together, to help students think about how there life continues to commit to theological studies and Christian service.
