Founded by the Felician Sisters in 1937, Madonna University is a private Catholic university in Livonia, Michigan. Madonna University has approximately 99 undergraduate programs and 40 graduate programs across several school divisions including business, education, health sciences, humanities and social sciences. Madonna University emphasizes Catholic and Franciscan values focusing on service and social justice as well as developing ethical leaders and advocates for social change. Madonna University is recognized for excellence in its College of Nursing and Health and Human Services which offers the nursing program, as well as public health and social work programs along with bachelor's degrees.
