Mississippi Valley State University was founded in 1950 and is a public historically black university located in Itta Bena, Mississippi. MVSU is committed to providing educational opportunities in the Mississippi Delta and supports various undergraduate and graduate degrees (in fields-a comprehensive array of degrees in business, education, social sciences, health sciences, and arts and sciences).
