Western University of Health Sciences, more commonly referred to as WesternU, is a private graduate university in Pomona, California, USA. Incorporated in 1977, WesternU offers graduate professional degrees in a variety of health professions including osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, dental medicine, optometry, veterinary medicine, nursing, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and podiatric medicine. The university is a recognized leader in creating interprofessional education experiences and delivering quality service opportunities to students. WesternU faculty focus on producing and disseminating research and providing academic service experiences.
